#32121. San Francisco Looking South from Telegraph Hill  Orange-mount view, c. 1870's, by J.J. Reilly. Nice overview of the city, looking from Telegraph Hill. Sharp detail in foreground, but detail falls off in distance. Detailed printed ad for Reilly's views on reverse. Minuscule soiling in sky area on both panels, else Excellent condition, with bare rubbing on corners. Scarce and highly collectible.  $175.00

#32123. San Francisco From the corner of Powell and Pine Streets, looking south.  Orange-mount view, c. 1870's, by Thomas Houseworth & Co. A crisp image, identified as #524 in one of Houseworth's series; large church in foreground, and the bay is visible in the distance. Excellent condition, and a tribute to the quality of this photographer's work. Scarce and highly collectible.  $225.00

#32135. Palace Hotel, San Francisco   Orange-mount view, c. 1870's, by Carleton E. Watkins. From Watkins' Pacific Coast series; Crisp view of the hotel, with signs visible at street level. Only two people and a carriage visible on the street. Soiling in the sky area, and minute amount of some white substance on top of hotel in right panel. Mount edges rubbed. Still, a scarce view and highly collectible.  $175.00

#14685. San Francisco Earthquake   Highly unusual Keystone flat-mount view, issued from Davenport, Iowa. Label pasted on reverse lists five numbered views in series; this one is #202, "Cables Destroyed (CSCRR)(California and Hyde Streets)." Crisp view, showing devastation of earthquake; people walking, one car going by. Excellent condition; scarce.  $50.00

#32171. The Capitol, Washington, DC  Square corner yellow-mount view, 3/14x6-3/4", published by E & H.T. Anthony. View #6471, "The Capitol from East Capitol Square" in their series of Views in Washington, D.C. Mount corners slightly rubbed; some soiling in sky areas of both panels. Certainly not mint condition, but still nice -- and with what appears to possibly be a horse-drawn photographer's wagon parked at the base of the Capitol steps (just a thought).  $20.00

#32175. Somewhere in Massachusetts, by Coggeshall  Orange mount view, 3-3/8x6-7/8", c. 1880's. Certainly not an impressive view of a farmhouse with three or four people outside -- some light surface soiling, but the lack of sharpness and image quality is in the original negative. Notable, however, for the stamped information on the back, "From Coggeshall's Excelsior Photographic Car." Treadwell cites views by Coggeshall as being scarce. A representative example.  $25.00

#32118. Nicollet Hotel, Minneapolis Minn  Yellow-mount view, c. 1870's, from S.M. Williams, Minneapolis; Huntington and Bartram, General Photographers. Crisp view of the front of the Hotel, with several carriages parked in front. Minuscule wear to mount corners, else Excellent condition; scarce.  $65.00

#32132.  Bridge Square, Minneapolis, Minn. by Nowack   Yellow-mount view, c. 1870's, from M. Nowack, in his series "Stereographs of Minnesota Scenery." The view shows City Hall in the center of the image; other signage for Grain, Carpets, etc. are visible (Nowack's lens that took the image on the left is better than the other). Nice ad for Nowack on reverse. Penned detailed identification of the location at the bottom of mount. Excellent condition, historically important view.  $85.00

#32122. Wilton, New Hampshire  Very crisp gray-mount view, c. 1870's, by F.E. Bugbee of Wilton, N.H. An overview of the town; good detail including railroad tracks at the right, the river, church steeple in distance and a large hotel in the distant right. Minuscule soiling in sky area, and corners of mount lightly rubbed. Otherwise, excellent condition and a fine example of the quality of photography capable at the time.  $40.00

#32154. Boardwalk, Atlantic City, NJ  Crisp Keystone curved mount view, undated, c. 1920's. Identified as "#32837. The boardwalk and Steel Pier at Atlantic City, N.J., America's Foremost Seaside Resort." Great detail in this view looking down on the boardwalk and beach; hundreds of people, many signs, Steel Pier in the distance. Great look at the past, in Excellent condition. Full description on reverse of the location and history of Atlantic City.  $40.00

#32172. Barnum's Museum Fire, New York City, 1868  Incredible view of the frozen ruins of Barnum's "American Museum" just after the March, 1868 fire. 3-1/4x6-3/4" yellow-mount view published by E & HT Anthony; #5971 in their series of "Anthony's Stereoscopic Views." Huge ice formations where the water sprays hit the building; burned out windows and doors. An important historical record, in Excellent condition; quite scarce.  $295.00

#26160. Anthony's Instantaneous Views: Hauling in the Sheet  Square-cornered ivory mount view; #237, New York Bay Scenes. Large sailing vessel in foreground; ferry and other small sailing vessels, in background. One or two minuscule stains in sky area, else EX. Early and scarce. Copyright 1860; penned title at one end.  $95.00

#26161. Summer Crowds... at Atlantic City, N.J.  Keystone View #26495-T; curved gray mount card, with Keystone imprint. Shows hundreds of bathers on the beach at Atlantic City; great hotels and Boardwalk businesses in background. EX.  $20.00

#32131. F.A. Rinehart: Ferry Big Horn River   Rinehart, based in Omaha, Nebraska at the turn of the century, is noted for his Indian views. This gray-mount card, copyrighted by Rinehart in 1900, is titled "Ferry - Big Horn River" in the negative. A man stands in the foreground, his back to the camera; beyon him are a group of people with several oxen or cows. The ferry, in the river, is visible at the right side of the image. A couple of tiny tiny "dings" on the bottom edge of the mount, else excellent condition and rare. The technical quality of Rinehart's photography leaves something to be desired.  $250.00

#32186. F.A. Rinehart: Camp Dance  Rinehart, based in Omaha, Nebraska at the turn of the century, is noted for his Indian views. This gray-mount card, 3-1/2x7", copyrighted by Rinehart in 1900, is titled "Camp Dance" in the negative. Perhaps a hundred Indians gathered under a shelter, with some apparently dancing. A small group, perhaps with the chief, is seated in the foreground. Excellent condition overall, although typically lacking in great detail. Rare.  $295.00

#32187. F.A. Rinehart: A Village Crier  Rinehart, based in Omaha, Nebraska at the turn of the century, is noted for his Indian views. This gray-mount card, 3-1/2x7", copyrighted by Rinehart in 1900, is titled "A Village Crier" in the negative. Perhaps a hundred Indians gathered under a shelter; a lone Indian rides to the left in the foreground. From the title, we would expect him to either be bringing or calling out news or information. One minuscule (ink) mark in right panel; minuscule abrasion in lower left corner of mount. Excellent condition overall, although lacking in great detail, typical of Rinehart views. Rare.  $295.00

#32188. F.A. Rinehart: Going After the Horses  Rinehart, based in Omaha, Nebraska at the turn of the century, is noted for his Indian views. This gray-mount card, 3-1/2x7", copyrighted by Rinehart in 1900, is titled "Going After the Horses" in the negative. A lone Indian in the brush has a bridle on an unsaddled horse; a saddled mount stands peacfully off to the left. In the far background is a long shelter, similar to that seen in other Rinehart views. Excellent condition overall, although lacking in great detail, typical of Rinehart views. Rare.  $295.00
