O.K. This is self-serving, no doubt about it. Most of these comments are applause, and I'll take my bows. But I've also noted a few complaints, and how I dealt with them. If you think I'm trying to emulate the Grimm Brothers, please verify the plaudits with the writers. (You can activate an e-mail by clicking on their name).

"I wish you'd put up a feedback-book for people who visit the site or do business with you. I'd love to put in a very positive feeback on the transaction. I feel that reading feedback from people who have done business with you before really helps to build confidence faster in those people who are sitting on the fence... I'd love to do business with you again whenver I need anything related to my new hobby." Raj Thejaswi

"I faxed you my order Sunday evening, and Wednesday afternoon the Postal carrier... handed the packet of documents to me. Such prompt efficient service deserves a thank you... the booklets bring the old cameras to life by associating them with a certain time and state of technology that a camera on display by itself cannot convey." J.N., Milpitas, Calif.

"Thanks you are there! I would be completely lost without the material that you offer... Take this plus your excellent fast and friendly service, and you know why I linked your site on both my Mamiya and Nikon sites."Chris

"Thanks for your prompt attention to my order.. I will definitely spread the word to any of my friends that have a need of your service..." Rick Kurtz

"Today I received the manual that you sent me... I am extremely satisfied. It is exactly what I wanted. Thank you for the excellent service, and I look forward to doing business with you again." Benjamin Zuckerman

"The Stereo Realist arrived today --- thank you for your quick service... Very nice condition, I would say, for a Realist at that price... The next time I'm looking for something in the classic-camera line, your Web site will the first place I'll check!" Allen E. Crocker

"My order arrived safely. Thank you for such an excellent and responsive service. It's good to deal with you." J. Roger Salmon

"Thanks John a pleasure doing business with you. Have passed around your name and address to some camera people here in the valley..." Paul Sullivan

After I quoted this customer on an original instruction booklet for a Rollei 35S camera, I received this reply: "You can look forward to my business as long as you want, but I will never pay $20 for an instruction booklet. Dream on!" I flamed him back, and suggested he call Marflex, the company that handles Rollei, in New Jersey. He supposedly did, and reportedly received a booklet for free! Michael Rose

"Mr. Davies of Tredegar has asked me to thank you for your prompt service; he is delighted with his purchase." Terry Hardy(United Kingdom)

"I find that your used books are better than some I have bought new. Again thanks, for the quick service." J.A. Dunning

"...better than I expected... Nice to find a business on the web that's straight-up, honest, and responsive." Greg Stanley

Michael Harley writes: "Absolutely amazing service. I sent an email to you on 11 June for an instruction manual... It was on my desk in Hong Kong on 15 June. Really great."

"Thank you for such outstanding services. In a world where customer service seems to have been forgot you are a breath of fresh air... I hope to do more business with you in the future and will be sure to let my friends that are into photography know how much you can help them. Thank you for all your help and quick delivery."Ronald Cox

"I recently ordered an instruction book from you... I'd given up hope that we'd figure out how to use the camera-- your site was a blessing." Helen Upton

Allan Hansford writes: "You would do a lot more (business on the Net) if your site was not so SLOW... Pages take so long to download that people will get frustrated and leave for other quicker loading sites..... As I have done..."

John Steger writes: "I must admit that, at first, the thought of a photocopy (instruction) manual was not what I had in mind. The copy that you sent was great. It is about as close as you can get without the real thing."
